Long mala beaded necklace with 108 obsidian stones as the main beads and one large 18 mm rose wood bead with a traditional lotus knot tassel as the guru bead. On the 7th bead of each side of the large guru bead, a uniquely engraved rose wood bead serves as the 7th marker bead. One wood bead is engraved with a Buddha in lotus and the other 7th marker bead is engraved with the Chinese word for Buddha. On the 14th bead on each side of the guru bead is a faceted 10 mm red tiger's eye stone.

About Malas:
Malas are sets of prayer beads that are used to keep your mind spiritually focused while reciting or mentally repeating a mantra. Mala is an ancient Sanskrit term meaning “garland”. Malas are the traditional and spiritual tools of the Buddhist and Hindu religions.
